Agoda.com, Kayak and Rentalcars.com are all owned by the same parent company, Booking Holdings Inc. When booking a flight on Agoda, you’ll be directed to Kayak.com. When renting a car on Agoda, you’ll be directed to Rentalcars.com.
Agoda, Kayak and Rentalcars all make their money as affiliate companies. This means they don’t own any hotels, planes or cars. Rather, they earn money as a middleman, receiving a commission when a customer books a room, flight or car through their platforms.
Agoda’s prices on flights and car rentals are the same as what’s displayed on Kayak and Rentalcars.com. Agoda does not earn commission for referring a user to one of its sister sites, and there’s no price advantage when booking a flight or car rental through Agoda.

How To Rent A Car Through Agoda
Rentalcars.com is Agoda’s car rental partner. It’s one of the world’s most reputable car booking sites. In the company’s own words, it “connects you to the biggest names in car hire”.
To book a car through Agoda, hover your mouse over the three dots in the central top of the home page. “Car rentals” and “Things to do” will appear in the drop-down menu. From here, click “Car rentals”.
You’ll be directed to Rentalcars.com to continue the booking process. Enter your pick-up location, dates and check any necessary boxes.

Should You Book Your Flight Or Car Rental Through Agoda? (My Opinion)
In my opinion, there’s no direct benefit to booking a flight or car rental through Agoda.com, other than the few seconds it may save you to open another tab.
As of 2023, Agoda does not offer accommodation + flight or accommodation + car rental packages. This type of package, or bundle, would make the idea of booking exclusively through Agoda more appealing, as it can potentially save customers time and money.
However, this feature is unlikely to be added, as all three sites (Agoda, Kayak and Rentalcars) are owned by Booking Holdings Inc. A package/bundle would actually cut into the parent company’s total profits.
